I would describe my photography style as candid, documentary, capturing the natural moments that have happened with a fine attention to detail. I love watching people interact with each other and capturing these simple but special moments in my photos. I will give you some directions, but I’m not the type of photographer who plans every single pose. The only shot list I use during the day is one detailing all of the family and bridal party members, so I can get everyone organized for family photos. When I am shooting a wedding or an engagement session, I want to capture the REAL YOU. You’ll talk, snuggle, walk, laugh and have a good time.
I’m a wedding photographer based in Tampa, FL and Charleston, SC. I love to travel! I have traveled all over this fine land of ours, including Europe, America, and Asia. So just get in touch and find out more on travel costs to your area.
Absolutely! I love the intimacy of elopements, and especially if it's an adventurous outdoor elopement!
I know there's a lot to consider when you're choosing your wedding photographer, so instead of listening to what I have to say, I'd rather if you took a few moments to pop over to my The Knot and read reviews from some of my other sweet couples!
Feeling awkward when we first begin to shoot is normal. But it won't last, I promise. This is a new experience for you and my job is to make you feel comfortable. But after a bit, you stop overthinking and worrying, and return to your normal, natural self. Believe me. The more you let go, the more your joy and love will shine through in your pictures!
It all depends on your choice of photography coverage, how many people attend, the weather, details, how good your DJ is and how awesome your friends and family are at dancing. There are so many factors. I’ve found the norm is between 650-800 images.
My rates start at $3,500 for 8 hours. Please get in touch for a full pricing guide! I assure you that I understand what planning and budgeting for a wedding feels like, and if you don't see what you are looking for just ask. I'm open to discuss your budget and I'll try to find the best solution for you.
Yes, I love to teach and inspire other photographers. Topics covered: business, pricing, second shooting, editing, light, telling stories well... Come follow me on Instagram so you can see my behind-the-scenes life, and make sure to leave a comment and say hello – I always love connecting!
Yes. My second shooters are professional wedding photographers with a similar style to mine. They are hired for the amount of time that is needed to cover areas when I can’t be in two places at once, for example: to capture different perspectives of the ceremony, to help with details and candid shots, etc.
Yes! All wedding albums are artistically designed and feature thick, lush mount pages and premium archival photo paper. I offer a complimentary custom design for any album orders! You will have access to your online gallery for a full year after your wedding to order prints. Prices are reasonable and the print quality is fantastic. Win-win!
If you’re ever wondering what to do with your engagement session photos, this is probably the best and cutest way to put them to good use. The wedding guest book allows for the display of your favorite photos along with space for handwritten notes from your wedding guests. I am so delighted to offer these photo guest books to my couples as they are made to the highest standards. The photographs are printed on archival, professional quality photographic paper and mounted to inner core.
In order to reserve your wedding date, a $800 deposit is required, which is non-refundable. I also require my couples to sign a contract outlining copyrights, responsibilities, and payments. After a retainer is paid in full and the contract is signed, the date is not available to be booked by anyone else. Easy Peasy!
